Hike adventure to Trolltunga, Preikestolen & Kjerag
This Adventure Tour combines the most famous hiking tours in Norway; Trolltunga, Preikestolen, and the Kjerag
Trolltunga, one of Norway's most spectacular hikes,is located in Haradanger. The return hike is around 20km and takes 10-12 hours there and back. The difference in altitude is around 900 metres. It is possible to walk out on Trolltunga ledge, but be careful! The hike to Trolltunga is in a high mountain area, where wether may change quickly and conditions may get harsh.
Preikestolen (the Pulpit Rock), the most famous tourist attraction in Ryfylke, towers an impressive 604 metres over the Lysefjord.
Preikestolen is one of Rogaland county’s most visited attractions, and one of the country’s most spectacular photo subjects. Preikestolen has been named one of the world’s most spectacular viewing points by both CNN Go and Lonely Planet. It rises 604 metres above the Lysefjord.
The mountain plateau of about 25 x 25 metres was most probably shaped by the expansion of ice some 10 000 years ago. Water that froze in the crevices in the mountain broke loose large edged blocks of stone that the ice glacier brought along on its course. In the old days, the name of the plateau was Hyvlatånnå (planed tooth), and was already then well known as a landmark for fjord travellers in the Lysefjord. It was not until around 1900, that the first tourist travelled to the top and Preikestolen as a touristic destination was discovered.
We stay at charming lodges along this trek; we start on a favourite trekker hut high in the mountains, a lovely hotel by the fjords in Rosendal (Hardanger), at the prize-winning and architecturally unique Preikestolen Mountain Lodge near the Pulpit rock, and in a roadless hamlet by the Lysefjord.
The hikes on this tour are relatively long, and we go hiking every day for five days in a row. So, you need some hiking experience to join. The tour starts in Bergen and and ends in Stavanger, and we go by small groups with a maximum of seven guests per guide, travelling by minibus. If you wish to extrend your stay in Bergen or Stavanger we can help you with hotels and domestic flights from Oslo.

DAG 1: : SIGHTSEEING IN BERGEN AND BOAT TO ROSENDAL
INKLUDERT
Rosendal Turisthotell is centrally situated by the quay in Rosendal. The views from the hotel over the fjord and the mountains are magnificent. The hotel was originally built in 1887, and has been extensively refurbished, inspired by the local nature and the beautiful surroundings. Rosendal Turisthotell has 21 rooms. On the second floor there are 8 newly renovated en suite rooms of different sizes, and some with their own balcony. At the first floor there are 13 rooms (single/double/family rooms) with shared bathrooms and toilets. Breakfast is served in the hotel restaurant.
In the restaurant Martha Meidell you may have light meals or an à la carte dinner, mostly based on available local produce. The restaurant may also be used for private functions.
There are several nice hiking options starting from the doorstep of the hotel, and attractions like the Manor House from 1665, The Folgefonn centre and Galleri G Guddal are easily within reach. Rosendal Turisthotell can be easily accessed from Bergen city and the Bergen airport by passenger ferry all year.

Høydepunkter
Elefantbarnehjemmet. De fleste elefanter- og nesehornunger du møter her, har mistet moren sin til snikskyttere, og har vært dømt til en sikker død i villmarken. Her får dyrene en ekstra sjans, og målet er et fritt liv i en av nasjonalparkene i Kenya – Et samarbeid som strekker seg over flere år!
Lunsj på Carnivore. Restauranten er verdenskjent for grillspydene sine, og har både struts og krokodille på menyen. Det er også vegetariske alternativer.
Karen Blixen Museum. Her bodde den danske forfatteren i sine år i Kenya, og du kan få en guidet rundvisning inne i huset, eller bare gå rundt på egen hånd i hagen. Innredningen og tingene er fortsatt som det var som kaffeprodusent.
Sjiraffsenteret. Møt det store dyret med de vakre øynene. Fra en terrasse på anlegget kan du mate en sjiraff, klappe den, og kanskje til og med gi den en klem og få dit livs eneste sjiraffkyss.

DAG 3: : Blue ice hike on folgefonna glacier
The glacier fall Juklavass Glacier consists of both calm, flat ice and more challenging crevasse areas. The tour is adapted to the participator's wishes and conditions. In the middle of the blue ice hike we take a break where we have a view of the North Sea and the Rosendal alps. We will tell you about the culture and the physical geography. In the afternoon light we walk back with the fjord and mountains below us.
Total time length
5-6 hours. The trip is about 5-6 km total walking distance.
Equipment
Please bring your personal warm, wind-and waterproof clothing (depending on weather), gloves, mountain boots (if you have your own), food and something to drink. Sunglasses and sun lotion is recommended. Included in the price you will get crampons, ice axe, harness, helm, rope, and mountain boots (if you do not have your own). We provide mountain boots in sizes from 33 to 48 (EUR).

DIFFICULTY
The hardest hike is the hike to Trolltunga, it can take up to 12 hours all together. The other days will be about 4-6 hours hiking. You should expect some scrambling and the path is sometimes rocky and a bit slippery (if it rains). You should have some hiking exprience from similar conditions. Good fitness and some hiking experience is also fine.
Kilimanjaro og safari i 2 parker
Denne reisen er godt tilrettelagt med akklimatiseringsdag på Kilimanjaro. Vi benytter den kjente Machame Ruten, en naturskjønn rute som passer godt for dem som ønsker å nå toppen, Uhuru Peak.
Etter bestigning går turen videre på safari til Lake Manyara og Ngorongoro krateret.
